We offer an unlimited number of patterns and colors to choose from.An overlay is a term that typically means cement based coating that is installed over your existing concrete. The coatings range between 1/16 to 1/4 inch in thickness. It is a wonderful and cost-effective way to enhance the look of concrete driveways, walkways, patios, pooldecks & floors. For example, an overlay can be used to create the look of cobblestone on a driveway, or change a walkway to look like brick. An overlay can make an unsightly pool deck look beautiful with a texture overlay. Patterns, colors, the possibilities are endless, limited only by your imagination on what look you want to achieve.We categorize overlays into five types: resurfacing, acid stain, textured, stencils & stamped. RESURFACING: Resurfacing has many applications from simply restoring a dull concrete area to with a broom finish or as a preparation for a stain application in which a clean fresh surface is needed. ACID STAIN: When applied to a finished concrete floor, Acid Stain transforms an ordinary concrete slab into a luxurious floor, resembling marble or glazed stone. Unlike paint, Acid Stain reacts with the minerals already present in the concrete, giving it the look and feel of natural stone. Each concrete slab accepts the stain in varying degrees of intensity, creating stunning, multi-hued color variations and an uneven surface that looks perfectly aged. TEXTURED: A great look, it’s also called a knockdown finish and a splatter finish. The finish is similar to a drywall knockdown finish. This finish looks great on driveways, walkways, patios & pooldecks. It can be used in conjunction with stencils or design tape to create interesting patterns.STENCILS: One of our favorites. With the use of stencils or design tape, we can create the look of random stone, cobblestone, brick etc. This will transform a driveway, walkway, patio or pooldeck into a stunning area. STAMPED: We can provide you with the wonderful look of stamped concrete over your existing driveway, walkway, pool deck, etc. We will integrate the stamp process with color staining to create a very unique look.
