An affluent resort town located in Palm Beach County on the Atlantic Ocean, its name is derived from the Spanish word for “mouth”. With beautiful beaches and parks, visitors can enjoy the 67-acre Red Reef Park on the ocean, South Beach Park, and Spanish River Park, with water on both sides, picnic facilities and a playground. The trendy city reflects the legacy of architect and Palm Beach socialite Addison Mizner who built the Mediterranean style castle, the Cloister Inn, in 1926 as a winter refuge for wealthy northerners. Today it is the Boca Raton Resort & Club, one of the city’s most luxurious hotels.
